Our tools and your ideas

 

LP Systems is equipped to develop, in their laboratories, both hardware and software components of customers projects. We can start from the idea of our customer and follow him throughout all design phases. In the end, we can deliver some prototypes or choose to provide some lots of production to third parties in accord to our trusted partners.

 

We are able to manage the following software, operating systems or programming languages:

  • Altium Designer 14 and correlated SVN sytem for integrate it with Altium Designer Viewer (see this guide);
  • SolidWorks 2014 with 3D CAD designing and integration with Altium Designer 14;
  • MPLAB-X of Microchip and their compilers (guide);
  • Eclipse or Netbeans IDE for Java development of PC based, platform independent and native application;
  • Android App developed with: WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC or other remote controls;
  • Zend Studio for editing of the HTML-PHP languages;
  • Windows (8, Seven and XP) or Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.) based operating systems;
  • Unix kernel hacking in collaboration with our Unix systems expert;
  • And more.

 

In our laboratories we have some tools that enable us to realize prototype and take electrical measurements:

  • OK International Modular Rework System;
  • OK International Soldering, Desoldering and Rework station;
  • OK International Flux Dispensers;
  • Reflow oven for assembly SMD components (prototyping phase);
  • LeCroy WaveRunner 610Zi;
  • Fluke Digital Multimeters and capacimeters;
  • Fluke 289 True-rms Industrial Logging Multimeter with TrendCapture;
  • Rohde & Schwarz Hameg HM8115-2 Programmable AC/DC Power Meter (From 1mW to 8kW);
  • Agilent 33250A 80 MHz function pulse generator;
  • Several DC Variable Power supplies;
  • Multiple Workstations equipped with 3D CAD and IDE licenses (Mechanical and electrical integrations);
  • Several types of programmers and in-circuit debugger, (JTAG, ICD2, ICD3, REAL-ICE, etc.);
  • Several types of photovoltaic and piezoelectric generators, Lead–acid or Li-Ion accumulators and more other for energy harvesting study;

Software and languages skills:

  • C/C++ for microcontrollers firmware;
  • Java for Android and native PC app;
  • HTML, PHP, JSP, JavaScrips, jQuery, for web development;
  • C/C++, dynamic high-level scripting (like: Python, etc.) for Linux facilitations;
  • SQL for managing data in a relational database management system;
  • And more.

 

In addition to the tools available in our laboratories and the experience gained from years of industrial design we can offer the possibility of collaboration with our partners. This allows us to extend our capabilities or our limitations.
